Refund Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
PitchDance costs $29 once, with no subscription. The best way to know if it suits you is the free trial, so please try before you buy. If the purchase still is not right, here is how refunds work.
The 14-day window
You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. That matches the length of the free trial, so between the two you have plenty of time to decide. After 14 days we generally cannot offer a refund, though you are always welcome to write and explain your situation.
How to request one
You have two easy paths:
- Email support@pitchdance.com from the address you bought with, and mention your order.
- Or use the refund link on the Paddle receipt that was emailed to you at purchase.
Because Paddle is our merchant of record, the refund itself is issued by Paddle back to your original payment method. It usually lands within a few business days, depending on your bank.
What happens to your license
When a refund is issued, the associated license is revoked in our account system. Re-downloading the app and getting support are disabled for that license.
We want to be straight with you about one technical detail. PitchDance activates offline using a signed license key, so a key that is already installed on your machine cannot be switched off remotely. Revoking a refunded license stops re-download and support, and we ask that you stop using the app after a refund, but we cannot reach into a copy that is already activated. We are trusting you to do the right thing, and nearly everyone does.
Chargebacks
If something went wrong, please email us first. A quick message almost always sorts it out faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to the account and its licenses being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
